About Jodi Rogers
To understand why Self-Funded Freedom exists, it helps to understand its founder.
Jodi Rogers is a freedom-driven entrepreneur, property professional, and long-term investor with decades of experience helping everyday Australians build wealth and financial independence.
Before the age of 20, Jodi had opened her first business in Adelaide. By her late 20s, she had purchased her first investment property. These early experiences laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong focus on independence, ownership, and financial control.
A natural adventurer, Jodi then spent several years travelling extensively, exploring close to 70 countries across the USA, Europe, Northern Africa, and the Middle East. Rather than travelling as a tourist, she immersed herself in local cultures, spending time living alongside locals, including Bedouin communities in the Sahara, families across Europe, and volunteers in orphanages. This period shaped her ability to connect deeply with people from all walks of life and understand different perspectives, values, and priorities.
On returning to Australia, Jodi built a successful career in real estate in Melbourne, delivering exceptional results for her clients. Her ability to truly understand client goals, risk tolerance, and long-term objectives led her to senior leadership roles, including managing the Victorian operations for a multinational investment property organisation. During this time, she became the top performer nationally.
Jodi has been a fully licensed real estate agent since 2009 and has operated through multiple market cycles, including the Global Financial Crisis, tightening credit environments, rate rises, and regulatory changes. This experience has given her a deep understanding of how markets behave over time, how lending rules shift, and how strategic investors adapt rather than stall.
Self-Funded Freedom was born from Jodi’s desire to bridge the gap between education and execution. Most Australians are never taught how achievable wealth creation can be when property, lending structures, tax efficiency, and cash flow are aligned correctly. As a result, many work hard their entire lives yet still reach retirement financially constrained.
Within her own family, Jodi has witnessed both the powerful benefits of forward planning and the devastating emotional, mental, and physical toll that poor or absent planning can create later in life. This has reinforced her unwavering commitment to helping everyday Australians create choice, security, and freedom.
Today, Jodi continues to travel, scuba dive, and enjoy life while helping others build a future where they are not trapped by debt, limited options, or fear of retirement.
